Setting Your Preferred Print Label Sizes

Navigating label printing can sometimes be a hassle, especially when different labels have varying size requirements. At SentryStock, we've simplified the process for you. Here's a step-by-step guide on setting up your preferred print label sizes and ensuring seamless printing.

Choosing the Right Label Size

SentryStock provides support for three primary label types:

Item Labels
Pallet Labels
Box Labels

Each of these label types comes with its own set of size options to cater to different printer specifications.

How to Set Label Size Preferences

Navigating to Settings: From your SentryStock dashboard, click on the user icon in the top header and click the 'Settings' tab.
Selecting Preferences: Inside the 'Settings', you will find the 'Preferences' option. Click on it to proceed.
Choosing Label Sizes: Here, you'll be presented with size options for each label type. Simply select the size that matches your printer's requirements.

Note: If you find that your specific label size isn't listed, don't worry! Reach out to our support team, and we'll generate a ticket to have your size added to our list of options.

Printing Tips for Optimal Results

When you're ready to print, keep the following in mind:

- Margins: Always set the margins to "none". This ensures that the print takes up the entire label and won't bleed into multiple labels.
- Scale: Maintain the scale at its default setting. There's no need to adjust this as the size chosen in the settings should perfectly match your printer's specifications.

Remember, the aim here is to minimize any manual adjustments when printing. By selecting the appropriate label size in SentryStock, you're ensuring that each print will be optimized for your chosen label type and size.
